This series depicts the scenes from the popular novel, "Tokaido-chu Hiza Kurige" (Shanks Mare) by Jippensha Ikku. The mis-adventures by the funny travellers, Mr.Yaji and Mr. Kita who single-handedly demolished all the inns along the Tokaido but not even arrested.
