Description :
From "Meisho Edo Hyakkei" ("One Hundred Famous View of Edo"). "Fukagawa Susaki, Ju-man Tsubo". The area of Fukagawa. It used to be a swamp where people dumped refuge from Edo. The huge eagle casts its keen eyes to the dreary cold landscape below. One of the most bold images in this series.
