"Genji Goju-yo Jo" (The contemporary Fifty-four Feelings) no. 41. Maboroshi. The word, Genji, is punned with the Tale of Genji. The popular Genji subjects were applied to the modern-day subjects. Lady is looking at outside from a veranda. Silouetted houses are seen through the misty rain. A western style oil lamp is next to her.
