This print is from the series, Thirty Six Beauties published by Akiyama Buemon in 1893. It's low tide, so people are on the beach looking for shellfish. The woman in the foreground bends over to catch a fish stranded on the beach, and others are digging in the sand for shellfish. Gauffrage on the title cartouche amd urushi-e on the beauty's collar and obi of the crouching woman.
