Description :
Ryoanji yuki akebono, “Ryoan Temple in Snow at Daybreak” from the series Miyako meisho no uchi, “A Set of Famous Views of the Capital [ Kyoto ].” A set of at least 30 chuban prints published by Osaka Wataya c. late 1850′s – early 1860′s. Shows visitors to the Zen temple. One of the best designs from the set. Fine impression and colour. Very small repair top right corner, otherwise very good condition. Signed Sadanobu ga. Status: Sold
