Triptych: The Sumo Bout Artist: Yoshitoshi Format: Oban triptych: each sheet: 14" x 10" overall Subject: Two Sumo wrestlers getting to grips in the ring in a stadium at the foot of Mount Fuji. A very rare Yoshitoshi triptych. Date: c. 1865 Condition: Fine colors. Full size with margins on left of all sheets. Minor migration of red pigment. Small marks and flaws. Generally very good state of preservation. Impression: Fine impressions
