Friday, 22 June 2007 Beautiful c.1905 nocturne by Japanese/American artist Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950). Watercolor on paper measures 9.75 x 13 inches; 17 x 21 inches framed. Excellent condition with no fading, damage or restoration. Signed lower left. Unopened back and original frame -- all-original condition and undisturbed since the day it was framed. Glass is slightly wavy, old and original. The landscape clearly depicts the Japanese countryside in the evening.
