Kuchi-e: The Sword Fight Artist: Unread Format: Aiban yoko-e: 8.5" x 10.75" Subject: Two cartouches with a young bijin tying poem cards together on the left, and two Samurai in a sword fight observed by a bijin on the right. Date: c. 1900 Condition: Full size. Album backing paper. Vertical centrefold. A small wormhole at right edge towards base. Minor soils, stains, marks and flaws. Generally very good state. Colour: Fine colors. Impression: Very good impression with gauffrage and burnishing.
