Description :
This print was created by Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949) Here is “Maruyama Park in the snow”, one of great prints published and printed by Doi Teiichi in 1936, probably the most famous print of Koitsu published by Doi. Signed Koitsu and has artists seal Shin (true). Inscribed in Japanese on the right margin. Has publisher seal Doi Hangaten and carver/printer Harada/Ito seals, indicate it’s early prewar edition. It’s one of the best designs of the artists. Oban size 16" by 11". Good impression, excellent color , bleedthrough and registration, just has slight discoloration near top left corner almost invisible.
