Title Washing Hair - Sanju Rokkasen Artist Toshikata Mizuno 1866-1908 Signature Toshikata. Seal Artist's seal. Dated Ca. 1894. Publisher Akiyama Buemon ? Medium/Technique Woodblock print. Impression Very good ... embossed. Colors Very good ... title cartouche oxidized. Condition Very good ... paper toning, album backing, left margin partially trimmed, slightly soiled, right edge reinforced. Description "Sanju Rokkasen" (Thirty-six Selected Beauties) People are coming out from a bathhouse after their hair were washed. Shouhou era (1644-47). Note No publisher's seal probably because it was album edition. Format Oban tate-e Width Item 9.4 inches = 24.0 cm Height Item 14.2 inches = 36.0 cm
