Wednesday, 2 December 2009 Aritist: Tatsumi Shimura Medium: watercolor on papter Year: 1960 Size: painting: 31.8cm by 25.3cm Frame: 48.5cm by 40.5cm This is an original painting of book cover for magazine, Taishu Showa issued May in 1960. It depicts a beautiful Japanese woman in kimono elegantly rendering her beauty. This painting is framed and comes with signed certificate. Unfortunately an original book do not include this painting but we are still looking for. Note by Ross: This appears to be a fake copy (compare the image to the magazine copy).
