(early printing) Colors excellent Condition very good ... light toning, several slight brown spots on the top margin Rating 1 = excellent Description A barrack village in Hibiya Park on a fine autumn day. Several notices from Japanese Red Cross are posted on the wall. From the series, "Burnt by Great Earthquake" which depicted the scenery of Tokyo right after the Great Kanto Earthquake (Sept.1, 1923) which killed ca. 140,000 people and devastated most of Tokyo by fire. This print still has the original title in Japanese attached on the back. Format Oban yoko-e Width 14.4 inches = 36.5 cm Height 10.8 inches = 27.5 cm
