Description :
An Original Japanese Woodblock Print by Koson, decorated with a wading bird perched on broken tree trunk near hanging leafage, the scene reserved on a grey ground, 13.6in.(34.6cm.) x 7.4in.(18.2cm.), circa 1900. There is a small stain just below the signature; also some tiny nibbling to the rim of the top margin (visible in photo); no further chips, cracks or restoration; no tears or worm holes.
