Tuesday, 12 April 2005 Estate sale purchase 15.5" by 10.5" woodblock print, signed Noel Nouet Tokyo 1936, the signature may be part of the ink from the woodblock process or it may be signed in ink? There is writing in Japanese along the edge, the left side corners of the print have a touch of glue to hold the print in place, the backside shows bleedthrough and the paper frame shows signs of browning.
