Title Hair Artist Koshiro Onchi 1891-1955 Signature "Onchi Koshiro" printed on the left margin, "1930. Ko" embossed on the bottom left. Dated 1930 Publisher Mokuransha Medium/Technique Woodblock print. Description "Fukigami". Cleaning her hair. Koshiro ONCHI was a leader of Sosaku-Hanga movement and was the pioneer of abstract arts in Japan. He led the new and experimental expressions in printing art during the early 20th century through right after W.W.II.
