Title Snow Scene azuri-e, rare, before Kanto Earthquake Artist Konen Uehara 1878-1940 Seal Artist's seal (Konen). Dated Ca. 1910-20. . Publisher Kobayashi Bunshichi. Medium/Technique Woodblock print. Impression Very good. Colors Excellent. Condition Excellent - very good … Slightly toned. Description An azuri-e print (only blue colors) of a village in deep winter. According to the reference book, Publisher Bunshichi Kobayashi's store was destroyed by Kanto Earthquake. He died in the same year. Shozaburo Watanabe who had worked for Bunshichi prior, apparently took over some of the operations. Width Item 7.1 inches = 18.0 cm Height Item 4.7 inches = 12.0 cm
