Description :
This is a rare and wonderful woodblock print by noted Japanese printmaker Koizumi Kishio. It is very unusual to find a Koizumi Kishio print for sale outside Japan, and they tend to be rather expensive. His work is featured in three new books on postwar prints, and it seems he is finally getting the recognition in the West that he had enjoyed for decades in his home country. The print measures about 15 x 11 plus full margins. Sealed with the artist's black seal, and again with his name in English. Excellent color and impression, very good condition.
