Description :
You are bidding on a Japanese woodblock print from the famous Taisho woodblock master Kaburagi Kiyokata (1878-1973). The print size is 15 3/4 x 10 1/2 inches. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. The artist’s chop stamp and signature are close to the right edge of the print. The carver and printer’s signature are underneath the artist’s chop stamp. The print is in an original folder sized 12 1/2 x 19 inches with a front window, and the print is attached to the back part of the folder by its right edge. Strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of original Japanese mulberry paper. I cannot find any defects, foxing, or stains, this woodblock print is in excellent condition. This woodblock print has been carefully preserved during the past years.
