Bijin in Snow Artist: Eizan Format: Oban tate-e: 14.25" x 9.5" Subject: A young bijin with a huge open umbrella walks in the snow. Publisher: Nishimuraya Date: c. 1820 Condition: Faded. Slightly trimmed at base. Japanese album backing paper. Two minute wormholes at base. Damaged at edge of umbrella top left. Minor marks and flaws. Generally fairly good state of preservation. Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage.
