Description :

This framed woodblock print is by the Japanese artist Kawase Hasui (1883-1957). Measuring 14.5" x 11.5", including frame, this print features a snow covered mountain top viewed through a frame of trees. It is typical of the landscape scenes Hasui specialized in, which were based on quick sketches taken from nature. Print bears the artist's stamp. Biography of artist on the reverse. Matting is acid free museum board. Actual print measures 6.25" x 4.25".
