Description :
Early and RARE Hasui woodblock print. Titled “Megaro Fudo Temple” . Published by Wantanabe. Bears a C seal (so-called sausage mark), so it was published between 1929‾1942. There is a “Made in Japan” sticker on the back. Print size 15 1/2” by 10 3/8”. Printed on thick paper. Great condition. Not cut-down, good bleed-through. There is one small drying hole on the upper left margin. Slightly toning due to the age, or maybe it’s the original paper color. I have never seen a 2nd early copy anywhere.
