Kumamoto Castle in Samidare (Rain in May), 1948 Kawase Hasui (1883 - 1957) A beautiful spring rain scene by the ancient castle walls, a woman in traditional clothing carries an umbrella against the downpour. This a favorite Castle scene among collectors of shin-hanga prints.
