Saturday, 27 October 2007 Japanese woodblock print, Hasui. Dates from 1947. Titled Inariyama, Nagano. This is an original first edition print, bearing the correct 6mm Watanabe publisher seal. It is also an image I have never seen in person before; I suspect that it is a rare piece. It is oban size, about 9 1/2 x 14 1/2” (image) plus full margins. Signed and sealed in the image. The print is in very nice condition, still in its original presentation folder, never framed. Strong color and impression.
