Friday, 13 May 2005 This is a beautiful original woodblock print by the famous Japanese artist Karu Kawano(1916-1965). I do not know the exact title of this work. It was done in the 1950s and it is sealed in its old frame and mat. There is a biography of this artist pasted on the back. The image size is about 14.6"x9.1" in.. I do not know the size of the sheet since it is sealed in its old original frame and mat. The size with the frame is 18"x11.7" in. It is stamped with the artist's red stamp upper right. It is likely pencil signed on the margin below the mat.
