Wednesday, 11 May 2011 A US Marine stationed in Japan shortly after WWII brought these back to Virginia after his military service. We have several prints of his to go up for auction. This print is entitled "Sunset Glow at Tsukishima" by Takashi Ito. The Watanabe 'A' Seal is present in the lower right margin. This seal was used by Watanabe from 1924-1930; indicating a very early printing of this print.
