Saturday, 5 April 2008 Up for your consideration is this great Shuzo Ikeda Woodblock Print from 1964. Its numbered 13/100 and is titled "Rabbit". It is signed in white pen in the bottom left hand corner, then it is signed again under that in Japanese, in pencil. Across from that on the right hand corner it's written in pencil '64, and 13/100. On the back in the top left corner, there is a paper taped on which reads: Sosaku-Hanga, Original Works of Art, Self Carved Self Printed, Artist: Shuzo Ikeda, Title: Rabbit, Nishi-Ginza Tokyo Japan, The Yoseida Gallery. Thia piece is matted & in a simple black frame, the back is a thin piece of wood held on by 14 tabs which are attached to the frame with screws. The picture inside the matte is 11.5" X 15.5", the frame is 16.5"wide X 20"tall.
