This is an genuine original Japanese woodblock print by great shin-hanga artist Gihachiro Okuyama (1907-1981) titled "Snow at Godaido, Matsushima ". This print is from early the best Gihachiro Okuyama works, first edition published in 1949. Amazing winter landscape. The print is not trimmed, has full margins. Great impression, color and registration. Signed and sealed by artist in the image and titled in kanji at the left margin. Oban size 15 3/4" x 10 1/2". Excellent condition.
