Description :

Sunday, 27 March 2005 Matano and Sanada from the series Scenes in Japanese History by Chikanobu. Original woodblock print dated Meiji 30 in lower left cartouche of left panel. Each panel measures approximately 14.5 x 9.9 inches. Total of 14.5 x 29.7 inches. Lef panel in fine condition. Middle panel also in fine condition with a little red ink on the bottom. Right panel in very good condition with a few small holes. Washi and ink retain original brightness. Black lacquer adds to the details of the armor, scabbard and bow.
