Monday, 6 June 2005 ARTIST: Chikanobu. FORMAT: Triptych. (14” x 28.5”). SERIES: Ladies of the inner halls of the palace. DATE: 1895 - 1896. DESCRIPTION: Evening blossoms. Lady out in the garden in the evening, admiring full blossom on cherry tree. PUBLISHER: Fukuda Hatsujiro. CONDITION: Vertical centre fold to left sheet with re-enforcing strip verso. Left sheet trimmed, minor marks and flaws but generally fair impression with fresh colour.
