Artist: Chikanobu Format: Oban triptych: each sheet 14" x 9" approx Subject: A picture of the ladies of Chiyoda Castle variously enjoying the Cherry blossom viewing and playing Blind Man's Bluff. The best site for the Cherry blossom viewing is partitioned off for the ladies with red and white awnings decorated with the Tokugawa mon. Publisher: Fukuda Kumajiro Date: 1894 Condition: Very slightly trimmed. Retains Japanese album backing paper on verso. Minor offsetting, soils, marks and flaws. Generally good state.
