Wednesday, 8 October 2008 Comments- Lovely image of a young beauty relaxing with a pipe, enjoying a fine spring day overlooking the garden. Blossoming branches frame the scene overhead, and a lantern sits on a large rock in the garden. A handsome print with vibrant color. Artist- Chikanobu (1838 - 1912) Image size- 13 1/8" x 8 3/8" Condition- With excellent color and detail. Backed with thin paper. Slight curling from rolled storage, could be flattened. Creasing throughout. Light toning and soiling, slight offsetting. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
