Description :
This eBay auction lot is for a vintage unframed Japanese woodblock print of snow covered islands in Japan. The bottom of the print has the publishers red stamp and date which reads PRINTED by KYOTO-HANGA-IN1950 (see photos). CONDITION: This unframed print is in very good overall condition and is not glued down. There is excellent bleed through of the ink on the back of the paper. There are signs of typical very minor mellowing of the paper. The margins of the paper may have been trimmed but we are not sure. There is a small 3/4 inch tear along the upper left margin of the paper. This issue should not be as noticeable when properly framed and matted. MEASUREMENTS: The paper size measures approximately 16 inches in width X 11 1/2 inches in height.
