Description :
This print depicts the Tenma Bridge in Osaka, at the high point of the annual Tenma Tenjin Festival. The scene is shown at night, with an inky-black sky studded with stars. The composition is clearly derived from the European method of single-point perspective. (from Uki-e exihibition 2004: June-August)
