Description :

In this landscape print, Mount Fuji rises in the left background, while pine trees and fishermen's houses are seen in the right foreground. On the beach, ocean water is being boiled to make salt. The broad, high view in this composition set the pattern for many later landscape prints (especially views of Fuji) by such masters as Hokusai. (from Uki-e exihibition 2004: June-August)
