Description :
"Shiki Koto Meisho; Fuyu, Sumidagawa no Yuki" (Famous Views of Edo in Four Seasons; Winter, The Snow at the Sumida River) A man in straw hat and raincoat poles wooden rafts on the Sumida river. The snow is falling heavily around him. The poem was read in the reference book as, "Even on the waters of Sumida River, the snow that falls fails to melt - or could they be seagulls?".
