Description :

In this visually dynamic scene from the text "Records of Erotic Encounters Throughout the Year", a couple is shown taking shelter beneath their bedroom canopy during a violent thunderstorm. The hand fan (uchiwa) and the mosquito-repelling incense sticks in the lower left corner indicate that the season is mid-summer, when such inclement weather is particularly common.
