Classic print by pupil of Toyokuni, showing the 'Wedded Rocks' at Futami beach, which are joined by Shinto ropes to form a torri gate of sorts for Koshitama Shrine. The view of Izanagi and Izanami, the mythological creators of Japan, with the sun rising over Ise Bay is famous. Pictured at page 99 in Illing's THE ART OF JAPANESE PRINTS.
