Description :

Hand-painted on silk, with deluxe elements such as gold metallic pigments, gold silk, and glazed clay/enamel end roller. The artist signature (upper left) is almost identical to that found on Kasamatsu's pre-war Watanabe-published woodblock prints, thus confirming this scroll's artist attribution and dating to the pre-war (1930s) period. His signatures on the post-war Unsodo-published prints have the same kanji characters of course, but are written quite differently. Very rare - I've seen only one other Kasamatsu scroll over the last seven years. (1) This item is either untitled or the title is unknown.
