Description :
Colour woodblock print, oban triptych. The kabuki actors (from right) Bando Mitsugoro III as (Fukakusa no) Shosho, leaning on an umbrella, Seki Sanjuro II as Hidekado, and Segawa Kikunojo V as Komachi-hime, all seen before a carriage, in the dance ‘Sarebaniya koi no omoni’, (去程恋重荷) part of the play ‘Hana no iro yatsushi Kuronushi’, (花艶和黒主), by Sakurada Jisuke II; performed at the Nakamura-za in the 11th month of 1819 (Bunsei 2).
