Woodblock triptych print, oban tate-e. Scene from the kabuki play 'Onoe Iwafuji' , showing the kabuki actors Sawamura Sojuro V as the court lady Iwafuji (right) extending her right arm and holding out a sandal, Ichimura Uzaemon as Onoe (centre) in a reclining position in front of a screen, and Bando Shuka as the servant O-Hatsu (left) kneeling behind it.
