Woodblock diptych print, oban tate-e. The actor Nakamura Utaemon IV (left) as Inukai Kempachi on the roof of the Horyukaku temple pulling a chain and Onoe Kikugoro III (right) as Inuzuka Shino having caught the chain's other end, struggling with three other opponents. Poems inscribed above.
