Description :

Colour woodblock print, oban triptych. The kabuki actors (from right) Nakamura Shikan II as Naniwa no Jirosaku, Iwai Tojaku as Kamuro Tayori and Seki Sanjuro II as Azuma no Yoshiro, in the Tokiwazu dance ‘Modori kago iro ni aikata’ (戻駕色相肩), lyrics by Sakurada Jisuke I, music by Tobaya Richo I; performed at the Nakamura-za from the 1st month of 1833 (Tenpo 4).
