Colour woodblock print, left sheet of an oban diptych. The kabuki actor Onoe Kikugoro III as Kataoka Kozaemon, fighting with an open umbrella, in the play ‘Gochumon shusu no obiya’ (御註文繻子帯屋); performed at the Kawarasaki-za in the 3rd month of 1840 (Tenpo 11).
