Description :

From the series, "Toto Fuji Sanju-roku Kei" (Thirty-six Views of Mt. Fuji from the Eastern Capital). Mt. Fuji is seen from Meguro in Edo. Kabuki actors, Ichikawa Ichizo III is in the role of Shirai Gonpachi (right) and Ichikawa Shinsha plays his love, Komurasaki in "Hiyoku no Cho Yume no Yoshiwara". This is an actor print in the disguise of landscapes in order to escape the censorship. Landscape was done by Hirokage and actors by Kunisada. .
