"Goketsu Kijutsu Kurabe" (Competition of the Magicians) Kabuki actor Bando Hikosaburo V is in the role of the evil magician Niki Danjo in the play, "Meiboku Sendai Hagi". He received a wound while he changed himself into a rat. His rat-state was indicated by the small rat on the title cartouche.
