Description :
In the upper inset, Enya Hangan is preparing himself for seppuku (Japanese ritual suicide). He is telling Yuranosuke that this short sword is his memento. In the lower inset (after the seppuku) Yuranosuke is declaring revenge for Enya to the retainers.
