Description :
Devil as a wandering priest in Otsu-e style. The writing indicates that this design was pasted inside the houses to prevent children crying at night and having worms; and also chasing away the diseases and fire hazards. Matahei was a semi-legendary painter who had been attributed as the originator of Otsu-e.
