Description :

A hair dresser and a client in front of a large screen. This is probably Gyosui's woodblock version of Edo nihon-ga master MIYAGAWA Choshun's painting. Choshun (1683-1753) was renowned for his exquisite depiction of beauties and people in every day life. He was specialized in paintings and did not produce any woodblock prints.
