Description :
From the series, "Dainippon Butsu-san Zukai" (Pictures of Products and Industries of Japan). Harvesting arrowroot in the early spring. The roots will be boiled and pounded to make "Kudzu Ko" (arrowroot starch) in Yamato (Nara) prefecture.
