"Dai Nihon Shi Ryaku Zue" (Picture of Abbreviated Japanese History) No. 7. Monobe Moriya Ohmuraji threw Buddhist statues in a river because he believed Japanese had own Shinto religion and did not need to warship the foreign deity. The story in Japanese on the backside.
